Integration: YouTube Video/Audio

Would be cool to have a favourite video playing in the background, maybe welcoming us with some free streaming music channel from YouTube.

Just an option.

Of course I know you can’t just play audio from YouTube (even if technically possible) for… reasons.

So, getting an embedded HTML5 player would be a nice middle ground.

The video image could have some dithering FX to make it lightweight. (e.g. spacing every video pixel by 1, 2 or more black pixels, as seen in many websites)

I am not convinced of this solution.
Because every time you enter the site it would start playing again?
It could be embarrassing.

I don’t get how playing a video could be embarassing, if the video itself is not embarassing. It’s an extra feature, you don’t have to enable all the available features. Just as per backgrounds, a person is not supposed to use embarassing backgrounds at work.
Pretty sure there’s going to be a “autoplay video” checkbox to toggle.

YouTube (and Spotify) Integration is here!
