Pomodoro timer integrated with chosen Todo#308

R

The Pomodoro timer is excellent, but it would be great if you could integrate the current Todo tasks together with the Pomodoro timer.

Then you have your Task title and task description on the center of the screen, where it now says “Focus”.

Maybe small button on close-by as well:

  • Mark as done
  • Next/Previous task (buttons with arrows?)

This also requires some customization for the pomodoro timer as well, i.e. what should happen if I finish a task before the pomodoro timer runs out? Preferably a short break should be triggered.

Hello Robert and other supportes of this idea,

Thanks for your patience while we worked on implementing this suggested improvement!

In a recent update we made it so you can see and add focus items alongside your Pomodoro timer! Simply hover your mouse over the Focus text (e.g Time to focus, Focus time) underneath your timer and then click ‘+ Add a Focus’.

Alternatively, you can use Autofocus mode with your Pomodoro timer, which connects your Todo list to your Focus. This makes it so completing your focus replaces it with the next item on your Todo list. You can learn more about Autofocus in the following guide:

https://get.momentumdash.help/hc/en-us/articles/360012372113-Autofocus

A Pomodoro break isn’t triggered when the Focus is completed, but you can quickly skip ahead to the break by clicking ‘Break’ above the timer.

Thanks again for your suggestions and support! I hope those improvements made a difference in your Pomodoro workflow! If you have any additional questions or suggestions please let us know, you can reach out to us directly at [email protected].

Cheers,

Ben
