The current timer notification chimes are too subtle and easy to miss when you’re deep in focused work. It would be great to have the ability to choose from a range of notification sounds — including louder, more distinctive options — and to control the notification volume independently from the background soundscapes. Right now if you miss the chime, you end up working through your break or not realising your break is over, which defeats the purpose of the timer.
