I would greatly benefit from being able to say “Hey Siri, set a Momentum Focus pomodoro for 25 minutes” or something similar. I imagine I’m not alone, but I use iOS and the Safari momentum extension for this.
I have an old iPad that I use in my house, mostly as a displayed analog clock, in an effort to assist my ~time blindness. When I am able to remember to set a Focus sprint on my iPad (rather than my computer or phone), it’s so much more helpful to see that countdown on my iPad, raither than me needed to check time remaining on my laptop or phone, which each greatly increase the risk that I’ll be digitally-distracted instead of doing the off-screens house chores I had been intending to focus on when I first set the Pomodoro.
So if I could start a Focus session from an iOS device, then be able to quickly look at it mid-Pomo, and all without needing to actually touch the screen? Would be a game-changer, I hope.
Currently I do “hey Siri, set a timer for 25 minutes” but that doesn’t engage all the fun Momentum bonus features that I would love to be able to fully bring into my offline routines.
(Apologies if this already exists, and thanks in advance if folks direct me to any documentations and/or how-tos! Uh I drafted this right as I was frustrated while starting a pomo for dishwashing. And then consequenty I have come back to my keyboard for this instead of washing the dang dishes)
