Make Momentum an app!#116

I use momentum to store my to do list and I use the notes feature for EVERYTHING> Would love to sync this to my phone as well.

If an app is too far out of the question for now, develop an extension for mobile chrome and firefox! The official Firefox mobile app can already run this extension with a slightly jacked up aspect ratio, but I’d love for it to be official! Run desktop mode to force add the extension, and copy the address into settings as your new tab page.

Firefox Beta, Preview, an Nightly DO NOT support this functionality however since they have different base code for the app and extensions. However, they are introducing more official extensions so I reccomend developing for the future and using those if you decide to work on a mobile version of the extension! Thanks!

Momentum is now available for your Safari new tab on iPhone and iPad! 🥳

For Android users, we’re looking into a similar setup for the mobile version of Firefox. We will provide updates as they roll in, so stay tuned! 👍

To get Momentum on your iPhone or iPad:

1. Update to #iOS15 (⚙️ Settings > General > Software Update)
2. Download the Momentum mobile app (https://moda.sh/app)

For Android users, can you do this for Chrome on mobile in addition to Firefox? I never use Firefox anymore.

Unfortunately, Chrome mobile doesn’t support extensions at the moment, Cara. If/when they do, we absolutely will though! :)

I LOVE YOU!!! I use Edge I have you all set up, I want to tell everyone, Best Home Page. It keeps me focused. Im on my laptop all day everyday Because I’m a Genealogist.

How is this completed? Is there an Android app?

Make it a web app so we can use it on any unsupported setup (like Android and Chrome on iOS)
